Intro to Robotics
Wednesdays 5 – 6:30 pm
8 Weeks: April 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 19, June 5, 12
Ages 8 – 14
Welcome to the world of robotics! We’ll explore circuitry, microcontrollers and block code to do physical computing: creating things that move, light up, and use inputs to initiate actions. This class is designed for mature elementary students and middle schoolers who want to dive into robotics and learn how to code. We think this is a fun way to learn about how things work and to understand general coding principals. Students will work on individual projects within a collaborative setting. There will be “bugs” and students are expected to try to problem solve, building perseverance and a deeper understanding of the nuances of coding.
