Grades 2 – 5
Explore robotics: learn how robots work and how to program them. In this class we’ll be using Edison robots and easy-to-use block code. These multi-functional robots are loaded with sensors and motors and they also are LEGO-compatible so we can modify and customize them. Coding a real physical object, like a robot, is called physical computing, and we love to explore computer science in this way because it is so compelling for all types of learners. The combination of robots with coding teaches kids critical skills, such as problem solving and perseverance, in a really exciting and effective way. Add LEGOs and we’re employing the design process and engineering too!
