6 Weeks. Saturdays Feb. 23, Mar. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
1 – 2:30 pm
Learn how to use a 3D printer, prep files for printing, and begin to design your own 3D models. We’re currently designing custom components that allow us to connect motors onto LEGOs so we can create open-source robots. We’re also designing custom computer cases, jewelry, and even 3D printing directly onto fabric. What will you make?
CAD-based software is used professionally in many industries. This is a fun way to become familiar with design tools used by architects, engineers and also game designers. This is is a multi-age class. Those new to 3D design will begin with Tinkercad, while those with design experience can move on to Fusion 360 and OpenSCAD
*In the case of a snow closure we will reschedule a class for April 6.
